Updates...Up date?

Ok so here goes. I know that I have really been slack here and I have neglected my family newsletter by totally skipping the month of July and I had big plans for my two weeks childless and and and...... Here's the thing. It's never "the best laid plans of men", it's more "oh shit, how did I ever think I could get this done?"


I go to work and these women that I work with seem to think I can do anything? Are they not paying attention, or do I just project a such a serene front that they really think I'm wonder woman? I have crocheted a few potholders and a few coasters. Why? I don't know! I painted a picture for the bathroom in my best Bob Ross happy little tree style. I took out trash and threw things in the floor to redo and am inspired and broke and overwhelmed all at once.

I did land a free lance job with the newspaper jazzing up ad copy. I'll never get rich doing it, but it does give me a little bit of street cred and it will force me to write everyday. If I know someone is counting on me to follow through I will make it happen. No matter what!

Ian is home and he is in full on teenager mode, Zhane comes home tonight. We will see how that pans out. School starts in 10 days and I cannot wait. We all seem to do better if we have a schedule to stick to.
